Dr. Julie Master immigrated to United States at age 15 from Kiev, Ukraine. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Brooklyn College in 1998 where she received B.S. in Biology.  She earned her medical degree in New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and a recipient of the Dr. Jeger Award for Excellence in Clinical Education.

Dr. Master completed her Internal Medicine Residency in Beth Israel Medical Center in NYC and was chosen to serve as Chief Resident in 2006. She then went on to complete Cardiology Fellowship in the same university hospital. From 2010 to 2017 Dr. Master was in private practice in Shrewsbury NJ and joined Barnabas Health Medical Group in November of 2017. Dr. Master is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Echocardiography, Nuclear and Vascular medicine.

Her professional interests include women’s cardiovascular health, coronary disease prevention, cardio oncology and noninvasive cardiac imaging. She is involved in community and resident education.

Julie is married and lives in Holmdel with her husband and their two children, Alex and Eva. Her personal interests include nutrition, fitness and gardening.
