Local Advocates

WEforum shares common goals with a number of organizations throughout Monmouth and Ocean counties.  WEforum is fortunate to have the support of many groups who work to improve the lives of women in a variety of ways.  Below are some of our local advocates who have generously supported our mission.

The Junior League of Monmouth County

The Junior League of Monmouth County, Inc. is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving our community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.

Founded in 1939, the JLMC started with 13 members in Red Bank, NJ. Today the JLMC is part of the Association of Junior Leagues International (AJLI), which is made up of 296 Junior Leagues in 4 countries. The 170,000 plus members of the AJLI reflect a wide range of background, interests and professional pursuits.

JLMC remains true to our mission as an education and training organization providing JLMC members, community leaders and girls with relevant and impactful educational opportunities to better themselves and their communities. JLMC is proud to work with WEforum, a female-led organization whose mission is to strengthen the health and wellness of communities within New Jersey.

180 Turning Lives Around

180 Turning Lives Around is a private non-profit organization dedicated to ending domestic and sexual violence in our community. At 180, we have served individuals and families who have been affected by domestic and sexual violence since 1976. Our caring staff provides immediate and long-term support in assisting clients with the trauma they have experienced, while supporting them in obtaining services and making decisions that will turn their lives around.

Trinity Hall

Trinity Hall is an independent all-girls college preparatory high school educating and empowering young women in the Catholic tradition. Trinity Hall is a school designed especially for girls and the way they learn best. In a supportive and caring environment, our students are immersed in a rigorous academic program complete with interactive technology, interdisciplinary projects, STEM courses, and global learning experiences that prepare them for the demands of the 21st century.  Trinity Hall students learn to think critically and creatively, problem solve, collaborate effectively, communicate with strength, and adapt to the ever-changing technical demands of this century. Trinity Hall women make a difference.
