Evan S. Rubin, D.O. is an Osteopathic physician specializing in the practice of traditional Osteopathy.  His hands-on approach to patient care involves all aspects of a patient’s life including taking a full medical and surgical history, the food they eat, the type and level of exercise, sleep, work environment, home environment, and family dynamics.

Dr. Rubin’s nearly 20 years experience studying Osteopathy has led to his approach in supporting the health of his patients through education and self-sustaining living.  Given the proper nutrition, hydration, physical movement, adequate rest, an environment with manageable stress (let’s be realistic), and preventive Osteopathic treatments, the body is capable of self-healing and self-regulation.

When a problem manifests, whether it is hypertention, diabetes, infection, injury, or cancer, Dr. Rubin will sometimes prescribe medication during an acute phase.  This is done to help reduce the stress on the body as it goes about its work of healing.  The medicine does not heal.  Dr. Rubin does not heal.  Nature heals.  It is with this understanding and the careful application of Natural Law that Dr. Rubin practices Osteopathy.

Dr. Rubin is Board Certified in Family Practice and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment, and is licensed to practice medicine in New York and New Jersey.
