– A Community Conversation –
Anyone can fall prey to the deadly grasp of heroin and other opioids. Mitchell Delmar’s daughter was a dean’s list student at Rutgers University when it happened to her. The Monmouth County dad told her story at a TEDx conference. His personal perspective will help you understand addiction’s pervasive evil.
On April 26th at Monmouth University’s Pollak Theater, attendees learned what could be done to stave off this very real threat. The WEforum and Monmouth Medical Center’s Community Conversation: Responding to the Heroin Epidemic in Monmouth County was designed to give parents greater insight into the epidemic in our backyards and what we all can do to help mitigate it. The event was free but registration was required: www.barnabashealth.org/2017conversation.
