A successful vegetable garden starts from the ground up. Learn about the importance of soil testing, correct fertilization, and proper planning to ensure a season long bounty from the garden.
Diane Larson earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Plant Science and Landscape Planning at Cook College, Rutgers University. She has worked for Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Monmouth County for 20 years as the county horticulturist and Rutgers Master Gardener coordinator. Besides training the Master Gardeners and managing this volunteer program, she assists homeowners and commercial growers with their horticulture inquiries.
