Eat. Breathe. Meditate. – A Yoga and Meditation Session

Wednesday, November 14 7:30-8:40 AM –ATRIUM TURF (LOT 2 Side)

Do you eat to live or live to eat?  Do you notice any of your 20,000 breaths each day?  Have you tried to meditate and just can’t stick with it?

Eat… Breath…. Meditate….  More than a simple concept, this guided mediation is designed to open channels of communication between your gut and your mind. Explore, learn and discover how to comfort your food body; adopt breathing techniques to both energize and relax your digestion; and ease your mind toward a meditative state – one which is very participatory in all of your actions regarding health, wellness, and self love.

Kristin has studied throughout her life many teachings of Ayurveda, Meditation and Hatha yoga with both American and Indian yogis. To be a responsible teacher, she continues to be a humble student – learning, growing and sharing her knowledge of this ancient practice from the countless numbers of teachers who have come before her.

Kristin has a non-profit organization known as CoolKidsyoGa, bringing yoga therapy and meditation classes to children of all ages and abilities in schools, and to those unable to pay for classes. She is the founder of Ohanala.Life, an avenue to a healthier and happier lifestyle.  Kristin and fellow teachers provide instruction and consultation in Yoga, Meditation, Ayurveda, and Stand Up Paddle – offering perspective to enhance the way we look at the world around us.  Her expertise lies in the practical and simple teachings of meditation, accessible for all.  Ohanala is the synthesis of family, road, wave, happiness and the action of being alive.

Kristin is married and a mother of three, who affectionately call her Swami Mommy. She reminds us that as we journey this miracle of life: skillfully uniting our breath, body and mind, we are ultimately connecting to all things beyond our egos and off our mats.  Through truth, joy, kindness, compassion, and love – we are all one!   AUM SHANTI!  Peace!!!
