The WEforum Group proudly celebrated the 10th Anniversary of the WEforum Fit Crawl on Saturday, February 3, 2025, marking a decade of health, wellness, and community empowerment. Over 300 participants joined this milestone event, working out across Monmouth County’s premier fitness and wellness studios while supporting a greater cause.
For the past ten years, the Fit Crawl has provided a unique opportunity for individuals to engage in three back-to-back fitness or wellness classes of their choice, from yoga and boxing to cryotherapy and cycling. This year’s event saw an impressive lineup of studios, including long-time partners Pilates Blast, EvenFlow Yoga, Perspirology, Poe, Pyour Core-Synergy Hot Yoga, SoulShine Studios, and Open Heart Yoga, along with a diverse range of additional fitness and wellness providers such as The Fort Athletic Club, Arctic Fire Cryo, Metta Yoga, Frost Cycle, Align Movement, and many more.
The success of this event was made possible by the generosity of sponsors who have championed the Fit Crawl’s mission to promote community wellness. The Inspire for Life Sponsor, Joan Rechnitz, along with Empower for Life Sponsors—Gloria Nilson, Epic-Elite, Girls Gone Gritty Podcast, Daszowski, Tompkins, Weg & Carbunella Certified Public Accountants & Advisors, Abby & Kevin Kelly, The DeSena Family, and Melissa Lowry—played a key role in supporting this initiative.
Other major sponsors, including Suzanne and Sean Rubin, Relish Your Chef, Marcy Ragan, Gary and Jo Chopruvka, Dr. Dimitri Oleynikov and Dr. Sonja Kinney, Campi Dental, The Suzanne Veninata Team at Douglas Elliman Real Estate, Meulener Dental, The White Chapel Project, Baseline Social, and Jersey Shore Nursing Agency, also played an instrumental role in making this milestone event a reality.
“We are incredibly grateful for the unwavering support of our sponsors, participants, and local studios that have been part of this journey,” said Carolyn DeSena, WEforum Founder. “Reaching our 10th year and raising over $165,000 to date is a testament to the power of community-driven wellness initiatives. This event has inspired countless individuals to prioritize their health and try new experiences while giving back to a meaningful cause.”
Following the high-energy workouts, participants gathered at Baseline Social in Oceanport for a rewarding and fun post-event celebration. The afterparty featured local vendors such as Cleansing Concepts, Greener Cleaner Living – Shaklee, The Red String Project, Court and Course, Olive Tree People, 24 Karrot Spread, The Vitamin Shoppe, Jersey Shore Supplements, Juice Basin, Reframe Protein, and Put Me On Brand, offering exclusive discounts, samples, and wellness services. Attendees also enjoyed nutritious refreshments, adding to the festive and rejuvenating atmosphere.
Beyond the Fit Crawl, WEforum’s dedication to holistic wellness extends to its other signature events: Beyond the Game: Ready for Life, an athletic youth mental health symposium, and Eat for Life: Food for Thought, an enlightening dinner event. These initiatives, along with proceeds from the Fit Crawl, directly support free health and wellness programs developed by Monmouth Medical Center (MMC), the WEforum Demonstration Kitchen, and its impactful programs at the LiveWell Center at the Anne Vogel Family Care and Wellness Center in Eatontown, NJ.
As WEforum celebrates this remarkable milestone, the commitment to fostering community wellness remains stronger than ever. With an ever-growing network of fitness and wellness advocates, the Fit Crawl continues to be a beacon of empowerment, resilience, and collective well-being.
